Born and raised in Texas.
And just now made it to the State Fair, and boy, what a fair it is. We rode this well-recognized ferris wheel.
Everything is deep fried, including
beer, corn on the cob, chocolate covered strawberries, and mattresses.
We said Howdy to Big Tex, walked miles as we soaked in the sights and smells (and tastes) of the fair, and enjoyed being with family.

Guess what, scootie? I'm born & raised in Texas and just a bit older than you (!!!) and I've STILL never been to the State Fair. :)
